I put a jumbo size box up a few years ago....the handwritten note a day or two later was a thank you from my carrier.

You guys are doing something wrong...LOL!

Round here that is Fed Ex. Along with leaving skid marks in the yard they come down the drive so fast. I think a few of them are high and most are on the phone with a homey.

I remember the issues of getting those boots I sent your grandson. It was like a month before they ever got it right.

I just wish our mail carrier could read.

well, i am on hold right now w/the # Hawg posted, trying to create a damn case ... i really need that Postal Inspector's name, and plan to call the damn Postmaster again this morning to complain -- once again ... hope it doesn't come down to a BhamFred yelling/fit inside the PO in Northport!

i seriously think this crazy lady got out of her car & shoved my mailbox until it was leaning forward & measured 40" ... i pushed it back into place, and reckon i'll stake the damn thing off this afternoon when i get home w/2x4's so she cannot pull that stunt again

I'd NOT stake it off, but leave it where she can attempt to move it again, then put a game camera in those trees back there and get photographic evidence of her tampering with your mailbox. Pretty sure that's a federal offense...

I can't complain. My mail carrier lives across the street from me.

That would really get her fired up, because we can all guess her political affiliation.

It looks like you are close enough to the wood line to put a couple of game cameras. If you could catch her messing with your mailbox you could get her replaced.

I knew a woman that was a big fitness person. Exercised every day. Crossfit, running...everything. She was a postal carrier and bitched every day about having to get out of her vehicle because she couldn't get close enough to the mailbox.

Pay your bills online. They get there on time and you don't have to fool with the mail. I doubt I have bought more than 2 or 3 stamps in the last couple years. I don't get any mail but junk anyway. But, it is crazy the problems you are having. Never had a bad mailman, the post office itself is another story.

That's the biggest load of BS. Did you tell her you were contacting the postal inspector to open a case b/c you feel that the delivery person messed with your mailbox? She knows that calling Shelby's office will do no good whatsoever. Also, you would probably get a better response contacting the Rep. for your district instead of a Senator's office.

yes i did tell her i'm getting in touch with the postal inspector -- but so far, i haven't been able to reach that person -- when i call the #, it rings & nobody answers it ... the wait time for "USPS customer care" is over 1 hour; i'm a working man & do my business on my phone, i cannot wait that long to log a case against this crazy wench

sounds like your finding out what it is to challenge the mailman mafia, they are all powerful and do not lose easily to weak citizens.
