If you got one keep it cleaned. Don’t go a few days without a deep clean, they get moldy.

I like Jiffy cornbread.

I threw ours in the trash, got tired of having to clean it everyday and it would only give you a half cup 8/10 times

A few years ago my wife threw a perfectly good Bunn coffee maker in the garbage because she was tired of cleaning it. She replaced it with a Mr. Coffee. slap
It was nice to have the water already hot for a quick pot.

If you have a keurig, you're probably drinking bug-infused coffee. Those machines are notorious for attracting bugs, man are tiny and look almost like coffee grounds...until you notice them moving.

Enjoy!

I just pour water in it. I only use it during the week. I use a percolator on the weekends.

I did the math today on Folgers in a regular coffee maker. 2.6 cents per cup. Pretty impressive.

Any container that you put water in and never use it will get mold in it.
I've had my Keurig for several years and have never had any mold or bugs in it. The only thing Ive ever gotten out of it was a good cup of coffee. When it tells you to change the filter and to descale it you do it...just a part of proper maintenance as any machine would require

But, the Mr. Coffee makes better tasting coffee and with less grounds than the Bunn.

Exactly. We’ve had one for years and I have one at the farm. I’ve never cleaned them except when they tell you to descale. The quality of the cup of coffee is directly related to what brand coffee you put in it.

Impressive, until you realize how chitty Folgers coffee is...

I don’t drink coffee but the wife does. She loves those k cup things. Heck our fridge makes her coffee with them. I didn’t know about cleaning but I think you guys are taking about the one that stores the water in it. Sounds like a playground for bacteria.
