How many bucks were killed? Were the heads all taken? If so please post the pictures of the racks, they can be very distinctive and will probably show up in deer contests in a few years if not sooner. Hope they catch the scumbags.

FB page looks like 1 with head cut off with a couple pics of the live deer. Not much detail on there.

central ala,
I don't see how you can insure something you don't own. These are state owned deer even though it's a high fence, correct?

Not sure about Alabama, but in most states, they are your property until/unless the fence goes down or they escape. If that happens, you have no right of recovery.

central ala,
I can shoot my cow when I want. They have to follow deer season. I'm pretty sure high fenced deer are state deer.

Is "high fence" and "breeder" treated different?

I'm not a big fan of the deer farming business, but if I knew the azzhats who did this, it wouldn't take a $20,000 reward f or me to turn them in to the po po.

central ala,
High fence and breeders are different. Breeders are licensed while high fence is not. Not sure of other differences. High fence deer are state owned. Follow all game rules Breeders not sure of those rules. Shotts could tell us.

Every time a high fence discussion is brought up on here I always hear someone saying that you don’t realize how hard they are to kill unless you have actually hunted one. So I guess my question is someone cuts a fence and kills multiple bucks?

I'd guess that a high fence "hunting" reserve is different from a breeding facility, which would involve more human interaction for obvious reasons. The high fence operations have deer that may interact with humans but not - probably - as frequently as a breeding facility.

So to your question, I'd guess that a breeding buck or bucks might be less skittish to someone walking up or being close than a high fence operation.

Breeding deer are not state property. They never were a wild animal. Privately owned purchased animals or semen

Does the state own your dog or cat? I see no difference with breeder deer. Except maintenance lol

These are breeder deer. They would eat out of your hand. The enclosure is relatively small. Sounds like one was shot with a crossbow.

Believe it or not, I think more of my dogs than 99.9 percent of the people I know. I don’t know you, but I would rather you take a slug to the head than either of my dogs. Just being honest.

I'm right there with you my dogs are just like my kids and I like them much more than majority of people now days.there would be hell to pay if someone did something to hurt them

My guess is neither of you have lost a child, so you have no basis for comparison. If you did you would see how utterly insane statements like this are.

I just lost my niece this week but I'd still have to have someone stop me from killing someone that killed my squirrel dog. I'd probably be dead if it were for that dog

We will burn that bridge when we get there
