We shot one wood duck and 3 goldeneyes. Two of the goldeneyes dove and buried up in the grass unfortunately. They were the last thing I was expecting to kill yesterday. Numbers were way down yesterday compared to Thursday morning.

Well yeah I could tell that much.

ZERO on opening day. Had about 25 fly over in several groups and heard some geese close by but nothing committed. Still, good to be back in the waders standing in the water, leaning against a tree waiting on first light.
