Hunting Bankhead National Forest this morning. I’m set up on a old road bed bend where the deer think it’s safe to cross. Bedding area is 100 yards behind me in a 3 year old 40 acre cutover. Wind is swirling everywhere right now, but once it picks up like predicted it should get better. Good luck everyone.

Well on a good note I just found out that my order of Black Rifle Coffee will be delivered Wednesday

In a ladder stand I put up yesterday in a hardwood creek bottom. Not exactly where I wanted but flooding/standing water prevented me from going as far back in the bottom as I wanted to go. Fresh scrape in here already, little early for us. Big thing is tons of acorns. Good luck!!

Nothing happening here, bout to get down and come back this afternoon to different spot. I haven’t hunted this stand much was expecting to at least see something

Yesterday I got my spot around 1:15 and the deer were already there so today it’s 12:20 and I’m waiting on them. I’m back at my shooting house where I have a small plot surrounded by oaks, weather sucks though.

Well showed up early and the only thing I’ve seen so far is an opossum

Well I’m ticked, had two bucks come in less than 20 yards, took a shot at the biggest one and I don’t know what went wrong but there was a strange noise. All I found was white hair and very minuscule drops of blood at the POI, no blood on my arrow. I spent over an hour trying to fInd some other evidence that he was hit but couldn’t. I knew that after the shot he didn’t act like an injured deer. When I got home and shot my bow I discovered that my drop away rest was not falling, so I adjusted the cord and it’s shooting lights out but I bet that buck doesn’t show up in daylight hours again.

Dang it , maybe you can get another crack at him. You might want to mark your cord with a silver sharpie marker or some kind of witness mark.
