Sat until 11:30 this morning.
Did not see any deer.
Did get to see a big ol' pretty fox squirrel.
Enjoyed the morning anyway.
Getting a bite of lunch and headed back shortly for afternoon hunt.

I saw a small doe with a little one this afternoon late. Only two deer that I saw all day. Still enjoyed myself though.

Barrett and I went back today and I set up on a small plot just off the road. About 4:30 I had two walk out about 40 yards. I finally got 33 1/2” of barrel out the window and centered her shoulder and squeezed the trigger. All I saw was light pop, flash, and white tails. Misfire. Sat there in disbelief for 15 minutes before recapping and centering a pine tree at 100 yards on the next cap. Just not my day, but damn what a rush.

I saw a momma with a yearling and 2 fawns...shes a good un and I hope she lives...we had a stare down for 5 mins about 30yards and she was blowing the whole time 😃I was trying to let her know i was there without scaring her to bad cuz I wanted her to go away n shut up

Killed an older 6 point yesterday.
160 lbs
140 yard shot broke the left shoulder and put a quarter size hole through the heart
