Neat in the information received, but Just think..... If the hog had been killed 600 miles ago when tagged........ there would be a lot less hogs. Maybe he was neutered, but he doesn't appear to be in the picture. God Bless, David B.

If it was a sow it would have made a difference but since it’s a boar more than likely any sows he bred would have been bred by a different boar anyway.

There are a lot of variables involved here. It mostly depends of food sources and the location of other pigs as to how far they travel. I have been seeing this same boar on out lease for the last 3 years. Most of the time during bow season and out of range. My neighbor caught him in a trap and didn't have his gun on him. When he came back he had busted the side out on the trap and was gone. I have seen the same sounder of hogs several times this year have taken a few out of it but they dont go far. I would bet this is an exception and not the norm. My 02.
Old enough to know better but still too young too care!
