2 wd or 4wd? I've never seen a 4wd in diesel. My uncle had an 81 model 2wd we used as a work truck. We put over 300,000 on that thing. It was tough, but would have gear it down going up hill. Top end speed was about 65mph.

No such thing as a 1980’s model Tacoma. Always gonna be someone gotta be smart. It was an 80s model small size Toyota pickup that would be the Tacoma.
