I’m back this morning, heard two bucks fighting before daybreak.

I would like to get another doe today.

Then I would have my two deer for the freezer done for the year.

Get the freezer deer killed early and then buck hunt the remainder of the year.

Guess we will see what the day brings.

Good hunting to everyone! thumbup

Saw a few this morning and a couple of real small ones this afternoon along with a small basket rack 6 point buck.

Nothing worthy of burning any powder on.

AU7MM08 and I went today. He cracked his first with the smoke pole. 110# doe at about 100 yards. I had 3 in the field about 65 yards from the blind when I got there. Would have been perfect range for the Kentucky rifle. Maybe tomorrow.
