If we're gonna make all-electric vehicles, ok fine. But why do so many electric or hybrid vehicles have to be ugly as sin?
There are 3 certainties in an uncertain world:

So that people won't buy them. It's been this way for 20 years. The companies can say "we've made these cars, why won't people purchase them?". Heaven forbid the electric cars be identical to the gasoline vehicles.

Since we talkin design 😀 The one thing i admire about Dodge is the design of their Challengers, unlike the the Chevrolet Camaros, and i dunno who's dumbazz idea it was to make the new model GTO look like a damn Honda smh.
Do not regret growing older, it's a privilege denied to many!

It will never catch on. Too much infrastructure already in place invested in gasoline. There are probably 10,000 gas stations alone in Alabama that would have to be converted over. It won't happen. It's like Jimmy Carter trying to force us to convert over to the metric system all over again.

Huh? Tesla batteries are thought to be good for 400,000-500,000 miles and their R&D is saying the next generation batteries will still be at 90% capacity after 1,000,000 miles. 1,000,000 mile battery

Electric cars are coming whether we like it or not. Y'all that know me know my love affair with the internal combustion engine in motorcycles, cars, trucks and tractors, but the electric cars are coming and I'm starting to come around on the whole idea. I can see me one day owning an electric get around vehicle and still owning a gas powered motorcycle and/or fun car. I used to think cordless tools were stupid toys and not serious tools, but now all I use 90% of the time are cordless tools. Technology changes and sometimes we have to be dragged along kicking and screaming. When you think about it, electricity can't be shipped (per se) from overseas and it has to be produced locally. So instead of making a bunch of Middle Eastern terrorist supporters and South American Socialist filthy rich it provides jobs at the power plant for your hunting buddies. Personally, I think it looks damn good for an SUV, and the performance on the top of the line models will blow away most any pony car and sounds like it will rival the Vette.
