Then it changed a statement I read yesterday, Go Fund said they said he can withdraw the money.

Why? just because he takes a stand differently than others? If you actually listened to what motivated him I don't think he's an idiot at all, I just think he's passionate. Regardless of the reasoning behind why he done it doesn't erase the fact that he still done damage to someone else's property. For years Trump fans have been literally persecuted and harassed by the left for wearing Maga hats. Theft, assaults on supporters and everything in between. Now a Trump supporter acts a fool in the exact same way... So basically y’all are the equivalent of the libs supporting other libs when they harass and destroy property belonging to someone who openly supports the damn president.

I know one thing, he’s made it pretty clear that he’s guilty to the point of being arrogant about it. Calling into the radio shows, posting on Facebook, etc.

He’s really not leaving the judge any other choice but to throw the book at him.

Its a balloon, that can be repaired. If they did not want it damaged they should not have brought it to the south. There is a point in life where we as conservatives have to stand up for ourselves. The DEMONcrats have been doing things like this for years. Conservatives get stepped on because WE RARELY resort to this this type of action. It's about time we draw a line in the sand and say enough is enough.

While I don't condone damaging someones personal property I can still applaud this guy for doing what most of us here would like to be done. From time to time we need to fight fire with fire and quit standing in the corner griping and b&*&&ing about the way the other side acts.

There is no doubt that what Hoyt did was wrong. He destroyed someone's property. Plain and simple. The balloon was not harming Hoyt. Hoyt knew what he did was wrong. He also knew that if he attacked the person who brought the float then he would not accomplish anything other than physically hurting someone who did not physically hurt him. I can't defend Hoyt's actions. I know him and know his family well. I like Hoyt and feel that if I were to call him or his family today they'd come to help. They are salt of the earth people who just want to work and live. That being said EVERY person should be held accountable for crimes or sins they've commited. Only difference is, all but one sin can be forgiven and crimes are judged by man. I wish Hoyt had not stooped to their level. BTW, his referencing of Jesus and the money changers(on Rick&Bubba) in the temple should not be looked at as a "go ahead" to destroy someone's property. Jesus was mad because the money changers were conducting business for self profit in His fathers house, not because He disagreed with their political beliefs. In those days, God would visit them in those Holy places behind a thick veil. So, that was His fathers house and not theirs. Comparing God's house to T-Town is like comparing apples to railroad spikes. I hope Hoyt is given the opportunity(and accepts it) to apologize and still find a way to get his message across. I believe he's a good man.
