Not to get nosey, but in the interest of helping him learn from my experience in Germany....He can get a weapons permit (and hunting license) pretty easy in Germany. You can have unlimited number of long barrel guns and two pistols on your (Waffenbitze karte). Shoot me a pm if needed.

By far, the best hunting I ever experienced was in Germany. Took native red deer, roe deer, fallow deer, mouflon, pigs, and tons of small game!

Thanks. He knows this. He’s lived in Germany twice in the past, in the military. I merely visited. He doesn’t want to take these over. They’re just just items to move that he doesn’t need or want to deal with, with limited space for a while, or leave unattended back here.

FWIW, IIRC it was well under MOA with the 129s, and that’s why we stuck with those. May have fired some 3-shot groups with 142/147 factory loads, as well. Don’t recall anything shooting badly and still know we stayed under 20, due to time and the fact I still have over half the box of 129s we started with. More than accurate enough for what he needed, so no further shooting was ever done.
