Trying a new spot this morning in some hardwoods on the edge of a swamp. One deer and one coon so far. Rut should be real close.

Snowing in meridian Kansas. 26 mph winds with temp of 7-12 degrees. Gonna wait before I go out.

Im hunting Bankhead National Forest this morning. I’m set up on a select cut pine ridge with honeysuckle and browse. I have a logging road 15 yards they should be walking. First time to ever hunt this spot. Good luck y’all.

Set up below a food plot on a small power line with a few acorn trees. Can’t see 20yds. Didn’t know where to climb and didn’t want to go back to where I killed doe last Monday so soon. Hoping to kill coyote. Beautiful morning, beautiful fall colors only made by our God. I get my bass boat back from mechanic today. Can’t wait to get back on the water.

Walked in after daylight to a set I hung 2 weeks ago. It is in a thick drain in a hardwood cutover. Walked up on a bachelor group at 75 yards on the way in and a mature 4x3 was with them. Watched them feed off into the cutover and slipped past them into my stand behind them, got the wind right so Hopefully they are coming down this drain.

Set up in a swamp bottom, had one slip through a little before 7. Hope they move ahead of this front

First hunt of the year for me and my daughter - Saw 4 slick heads before 7:30 - had to get back to get some work done. Hope they moving Wednesday morning!! Good luck!!

I found a couple white oaks dropping and got settled in the tree at 645. At 730 a big doe, yearling and a button buck fed right under me and I stuck the big doe. Only looking for rack bucks now!

I got off work at 6 and headed straight to the woods and just didn’t want to fool with it. I’m really beginning to understand why self filming can be a pain. I set the camera up the last 3 times I’ve hunted, skip today and kill a deer.

I’m in my lock on over a small plot in a power line opening this afternoon, hoping to get one more doe.

Set in some hardwoods with 3 year old cutover 18 yards from me. The fire break and draw coming out of cutover is 18 yards also. I’m in a natural funnel, now all I need is a hot doe to get stirred up, because this is were they will run through. Congrats southwood !
