For me it is the Zeiss Conquest. Even if it is discontinued.

If I agreed with you, we'd both be wrong.

Under $200 you can buy a Weaver Classic Extreme with an illuminated reticle. I've owned Meopta, Trijicon, Leupold, Burris Black Diamond, Sig Whiskey, and a bunch of others but the Weaver has been the one of stuck with because it's the best value with nearly as good low light performance as the Meopta Meostar I had. It will definitely allow you to see way past legal light and it is tough as nails too. Only downside is it's heavy but that hasn't been a problem for me.

I bought a Leupold 3-9x40 Vari-X II on here several years ago from Mark. It has a German reticle. I’ve never seen another Leupold with that reticle. Best money I’ve spent on a scope.

AC I’ve got a leupold euro 30 4-12x40 with a German #4 reticle in it. It and the meopta’s have the thickest side and bottom posts I’ve seen. Cool, isn’t it? I need to look at a Meopta sometime.
