Coach O is a perfect fit for cajun nation, but the coordinators are what make him. LSU better pony up, if the coordinators leave, LSU will have a drop off to the last few years.

That's what every head coach is supposed to do: hire the best coordinators for his team.
The HC is the CEO, just like at a company. Steve Jobs probably didn't know how to put a circuit board together for a laptop or run the HR department.

I bet colonel Reb is really crying now Not really. Orgeron didn't know how to be a head coach back then. He couldn't coach his way out of a wet paper bag. He's now figured it out. He is involved with D Line which is his specialty and of course recruiting where he does great...and leaves the rest to his coordinators. He didn't do that at Ole Miss and it showed. I watched an interview where he spoke specifically about his mistakes at Ole Miss and the new way of coaching, change of strategy and growth at LSU. I despise LSU but I've always liked Coach O.

That video should have also never left the locker room. I’m a diehard Bama fan and I think his speech was fine. It’s football. These people crying are either media types or bandwagon fans or never played a down in their life. I love it because that’s what will motivate our guys.
