I had everything loaded up ready to go last night, but I wussed out this morning. 28° was a bit much for me to get up in a tree...

Mine was more that the arthritis in my hand and knee are burning and sore as all get out.. although the temp didn’t help🤔

Stuck at work wishing I was in the woods. Had a big mature 8 come out right at dark last night and never gave me a shot. Won’t be back out til Tuesday and that forecasted temp may make me change my mind.

Try getting up to go and your camp has disappeared. I think my son grabbed the garbage bag with my camp in it and took it to the trash can. Unfortunately it was dumped Monday

We are keeping the 10 month old granddaughter this weekend so I’m at home spoiling the baby.

Saw a hen and a doe. The doe ran across the road before I could get a shot.

We had our grandson this past week.. enjoy that time spoiling her.. ours is beyond spoiled and we love it😁

So I was in new spot this afternoon. Forgot my harness and had walk back the the truck. It was 1445 and I saw deer coming in to my right. Then 3 more sun them an I saw antlers. They cam in nice an calm I had one stop 15 yards hard to my right and I whiffed right over his back. They just trotted out a few yards. The biggest one of them stopped 30 yards and was completely behind me. I had squad and lean out for get around my cables on the stand. I let the arrow fly and I heard the thunk. 30 yard recovery from where I shot him, nice double lung.

I ended up looking for a new spot and found a oak dropping with deer poop all around. Got nothin but a bj.

I hunted in some white oaks this afternoon and saw a few deer out of range. I was able to take out a turkey egg eater, though

Had one of my target bucks and another decent bucks chase a die by me at 10 this morning. Never could get a clear shot. Saw 10 this morning with 5 being bucks. Saw two yearlings and 2 spikes this evening. Not a bad day in the deer woods!!

Got a big doe this afternoon. First bow kill in 2 years we’ll a kill period. She ducked my string at 27yards and I spined her. Had to shoot her again.

I saw a spotted fawn...on a piece of public land im pretty sure there might be 5 deer on...like all of it...so i felt like it was a good day...theres more around...hopefully

Had 2 does and fawns come by at 4:30.
