I could tell you George agrees, as he lives around the corner and we eat together about twice a month. So if the âKingâ says Bob Wills is King, then Bob wills is King.

The only one that looks worse in regular duds is Tommy Lee Jones

Without a doubt hank williams jr. is the king. he's been making albums since the 1950's, touring since the 50's, and may have the biggest fan base of any country star ever. his dad was good and wrote very good songs for his age, but jr. just out survived him. jr's 50 plus albums aren't just mediocre either. hank jr. dominated the entire 1980's much like his dad did in his time. and like his dad alot of his hits are songs he wrote himself. will he ever get the credit, no. the music industry is more concerned with pleasing advertisers that support gays and gun control.

Keith Whitley is the best. I love George and Hag and Waylon.
Keith whitley is my favorite. But alan jackson has been around for decades and is the all time legend in my book. He is led zepplin to country. There will never be another led zepplin. Gonna be hard to fill Jackson's shoes. He is one of those guys that doesnt have 1 bad song. I can listen to everyone of his and enjoy it. George straight has a lot of crappy songs. Some good but not like jackson.

Wait a dern second now.... y'all talking about George Jones being the king of country music and the guy had 10 number 1 hits. Conway Twitty had 40 #1's. Hail - Ronnie Milsap had 35. I think Buck Owens had 15 #1's in a dern row. Top that.
I understand you can't just give it to Strait because he has 60+ #1's. I can get on board with that.... however - No Show George ain't nowhere near knocking on an honorable mention.
Good Grief. And I love some George Jones too BTW.
This kinda shucks is how someone like Hillary Clinton or Beto gets votes. Unreal.
No government employees were harmed in the making of this mess.
