WRONG JAWBONE! DAVID, Trump was elected because he was not a typical [politician and he was saying things that Patriotic Americans have yearned to hear from a Candidate.! Since he was already rich and successful most of us doubted he could be bought. These are the same reasons Dems started scheming impeachment as soon as he won! TRUMP 2020 NEGATIVE!. Trump would have lost to any other Democrat except, the one they put up, who is the worst candidate of my lifetime! Hillary, not Trump's use of Twitter, nor his big ego, or even his WWA Wrestling attitude are what got people fired up to go vote for him. The fact that he was not a politician played a role in it, but a much lesser of a role.
Lord, please help us get our nation straightened out.

I think its a complete waste of his time for Sessions to run for anything in Alabama. I haven't heard anyone say anything positive about him since his AG run. Most of what I've heard from people is them say they'd never vote for him again Only way ill ever vote for Sessions again is if he is running against Doug Jones. Sessions could have prevented this whole mess were in now if he hadn't recused himself. Obama's AG's were cheerleaders and headed his security. Holder openly stated he was his wingman. Screw Jeff Sessions, he should move to Mississippi

This only broadens the chance to not get Jones out. If he wins primary, it could be another Moore fiasco.

Richard Shelby is gonna throw this election like he did the last one. He's the reason Doug Jones got elected and he's already come out endorsing Sessions. Predictable. Bullchit. Jones got elected because dumbarses voted for Roy Moore Bullshitt. Jones got elected because Shelby wouldn't endorse (actually came out publicly AGAINST) and tens of thousands of Republicans stayed home. Period. Shelby owns that schit. Less than 23K votes that were actually cast was the difference. If you think Shelby carries that kind of weight in the state then I can't argue with you. Jones won because he was running against an unelectable candidate. For once we agree.

This only broadens the chance to not get Jones out. If he wins primary, it could be another Moore fiasco. 0% chance. It'd so odd to me that people won't admit that it had nothing to do with Doug Jones. People couldn't stomach Roy Moore, Rightly, or wrongly, it was all about Roy Moore. Kermit the Frog would've been elected, if he was the Democratic nominee. It doesn't matter who gets the nod this go around from the Republican side, they'll win. As long as it's not Roy Moore.

So we agree he was a good Senator but a bad AG so now he should not be a Senator again because of his performance as the AG? that doesnt make sense. Once a traitor, always a traitor

This only broadens the chance to not get Jones out. If he wins primary, it could be another Moore fiasco. I don't see it this way. I certainly don't and don't think most of Alabama see Sessions in nearly as bad a light as we see Moore. Sessions was a good senator, skating along not doing any real good, but not doing any harm either, but when his chance came to really make a difference, he fell flat on his face. If he is the candidate, I'll certainly give him my vote over Jones, but I would rather give another Republican not named Moore the seat to see what they can do. Preferably Tubberville as he is not a career politician, but if it is Byrnes or Sessions, I can live with that.
Lord, please help us get our nation straightened out.

Our President will have been unfairly attacked for his entire first term and has been unable to move a lot of his agenda forward.
Jeff Sessions is directly responsible for this. He was at the helm and allowed this entire fiasco to begin it's snowball which has led us to where we are today.
He is a total Swamp Rat 100% died in the wool. I didn't think that 4 years ago but at this point it is undeniable.
No government employees were harmed in the making of this mess.

well said Exactly right. Some say that we need hom as a Sr Senator but I will take my chances with Tuberville as a Jr Senator

Yes, but it took him getting a higher responsibility and failing miserably at it for many, including myself, to see this clearly.
