A few years ago I was driving through a pretty deserted stretch of 110 on my way to Eufuala from Montgomery and I saw what I thought was a lady coming out of the woodline. A van (family from Florida) had seen her at the same time I did so we pulled over and stopped and it was sure enough a naked lady. Turns out she had been missing for 3 weeks, kidnapped and her kidnappers had taken her down there to kill her. It was crazy. Dear diary, Jackpot! Well, just imagine..... 3 weeks, no shower, in the woods...… I'll spare you all the details but there was nothing attractive about what we found that day...… scent wise or visually

There is a large house on one of the properties we hunt. It was mostly ag fields until the early 1990's when it was planted in pines. In what was once one of the fields there was a large house from the 1800's with the windows and doors long gone that is now surrounded by pines. On my way to a deer stand one early morning before you could really see, I was slipping by house and noticed something white move by one of the windows. I froze. Watched, listened...nothing. Started to take a step and saw something white move by the door. I froze, watched, listened....;nothing. Stood there watching intently and then saw it move in front of a window, this time I heard footsteps. I was about to set my own personal land speed record when it finally stepped into the open. A white GOAT...a ghost white GOAT. Not sure where it came from, but it had taken up residence in the old abandoned house. At first you couldn't hear it move because part of the floor had rotted away and in several of the rooms it was just dirt.
It lived in that house for about three years. Always got a little nervous when I went by that house. While funny I bet that scared the $hit outta you..... I know the first time I saw something like that, that shouldn't be there I would have been slinging lead

Well sethjamtoe, sorry that I didn’t have the time to entertain you but I’m at work and just don’t have the time to tell bedtime stories. Run along and play and maybe tonight I’ll find time to write you a story.

Looks like the base of an old chimney maybe, but one would think there'd be other remnants if it was part of a larger structure, but I couldn't really find any (unless it was long enough ago that they rotted away)

I believe it's the remnants of a fireplace. I've got one in a greenfield on some property I hunt. There are no other parts of the structure except the fireplace.

I got a good one from just this past weekend!
So my son and I are getting ready to leave Barbour Co midday Sunday. As we’re about to leave Hunter tells me he forgot something in the stand, so we take off to go get it. We turn on the dirt county road our land is on and make our way to the gate. We come around a curve and I see a car in the road and a big 350 lb black dudes ass. Soon as I come around the curve he starts fishing for his basketball shorts and pulling them up. He heads for his car and I see another person sprawled across the trunk in a pink ballerina outfit frizzy pink skirt and all. She had to roll off the trunk because she easily had 100 more lbs than the dude. She gets in her car and takes off and he slow rolls by with them big white teeth grinning at us. My son and I were dying laughing.
In the middle of the day on a county road. SMH
