Every deer season, hunters come up on decomp bodies in the woods. It's predictable and chances are someone reading this will encounter this, at least at some point if not already. My question is if this happens to you, does that mean end of hunt and immediately notify the law or finish out the hunt and then notify? From a legal perspective, I'm not sure if there is a "duty to disclose" and if so, if there's a time limit on this duty. Maybe a lawyer can chime in here.

Depends on what bucks I got on cam at said place

They who can give up essential liberty to obtain a little temporary safety, deserve neither liberty nor safety.

Well, we are talking about a fresh dead body or one in active decomp, I’m going to back out and call the law. I don’t need dead people stinking up my hunting area.
If it’s a skeleton I might finish my hunt first.

Call the law but tell 'em don't come till you're thru hunting. And record the call because we want to hear it on here. laugh

I firmly believe that a double gallows should be constructed on the East Lawn of The White House. Politicians who willfully and shamelessly violate their oath to uphold and defend the Constitution of the United States of America should be swiftly tried and, upon conviction, publicly hanged at sunup the day after conviction. If multiple convicts are to be hanged they can choose with whom to share the gallows or names shall be drawn from the hangman's hat to be hanged 2 at a time.
