Dont look past dry field hunting that far north. If you get a chance to do it, give it a try. It's a blast I bet. This is more cattle country. The big ag fields are 40-50 miles out. I’m hoping to see what other areas I can get to on this trip. Also.... forgot that I saw another 160”+ buck with several does for about 10 minutes. If you like big bucks, you need to be out here. I’ve possibly seen 3 Booners, 1 for sure. He was insane. I’ve been here 3 days....

Killed a quick limit this morning. Very noticeable decline in birds today as well as a warm front pushes thru.
Looks like I’m going to be forced to move on today... walked into my truck this morning and my entire back glass is shattered out. Completely blown up. There is no glass anywhere around this place. So... I’ll post some pics later. Sounds like some locals don't want you there hunting!

I keep saying one of these days
At least I’m getting to enjoy vicariously.
Looking like some great memories being made.
