My friend who is an orthopedic surgeon said it was ok for people under 30. People 30-40 if they are already in good shape can do it.
People over 40 should not do it. He said he has made a fortune fixing 50 year olds who think they can do it.
Ill continue to eat right and get moderate exercise.
I love my country, but don't trust my government.

Ill continue to eat right and get moderate exercise. Not a bad idea. I think I know more people that have run a marathon (26.2 miles) than people that have run a 5k (3.1 miles). Most people go crazy and train for a few months, then quit. Living a good active lifestyle is probably healthier than squat lifting a VW beetle.

Ill continue to eat right and get moderate exercise. People, in general, make exercising/getting "in shape" a lot more difficult than it has to be. Eat decent food, in reasonable portions, limit sugary stuff, and get regular cardio.....do that, and you'll probably be in better physical condition than a large majority of the populace.

After 50 I came to the conclusion I had to just accept it. But I'm OK with that.

Tell your group they can all come split firewood at my house. I'll provide all the tools.
If they do a good job, I won't even charge them for it. When they get done, send them to me. I got a deck and 2 boathouses to build. They can tote 16’ 6x6’s, telephone poles, and 2x10s til they’re blue in the face.
This is Aldeer! The place people come to vent their frustrations and completely change their stance a few minutes later...

I workout at a crossfit gym a few days a week. I pretty much stink at it but it gets my heart rate up and allows me to still do some lifting. I didn't sign up for the open this year but have in the past
