Any of y’all deer hunt out of a turkey hunting chiar? I think I’m going to try it this year with a little camo netting as a ground. I think it would be light, easy to pack in, but still be comfortable.
What kind do y’all use?

I use the cushion out of my summit when I’m on the ground. I can’t sit on the ground that long, my legs go to sleep. I sit on the ground on a camo cushion when I squirrel hunt, but I rarely set more than 45 minutes at a time. I want to be able to sit comfortably for several hours, or possibly all day.

How comfortable are they sitting that low to the ground? More comfortable than any climber I've ever used.

Most comfortable hunting chair I have ever tried is the Millennium G100 chair. Half the people I know don't have chairs that comfortable in their house.
The M300 tree seat is nice as well.
This opinion was seriously confirmed this weekend, when I hunted a place that had a variety of folding chairs in the ground blinds. My back still hurts.
For $175, it better come with its own masseuse and pillow.

How comfortable are they sitting that low to the ground? You'll be asleep in no time and dont have to worry about falling too far yes; they're surprisingly comfortable ...

For $175, it better come with its own masseuse and pillow. That's one of the cheapest expenses I have for hunting. What's it worth to be comfortable and not have your back hurt?
