Hunting Black Warrior WMA this morning. I’m set up in some 5 year old pines with white oaks and red oaks scattered and beds all around me. Good luck y’all.

Good luck. Was planning on a climb Friday morning but rain supposed to be moving in. May go and take my chances of it isn't wet by day break.

This was first morning sit of the year. I scouted Monday and jumped a deer out it’s bed. Found a lot of deer poop right by the bed under a red oak that is dropping acorns. I slipped into that spot this morning and climbed right beside that feed tree. At 9am a spike walked right under me but that was all the action I saw. It was a good hunt and beautiful morning 👍🏻

That was quick sbo...congrats! Thanks, we’re a little high on the doe population, that’s my second one and I’m hoping my son gets a couple so I can focus on bucks, or head to the Cahaba refuge to try my hand at public land.

Out on the refuge again, back were I had 3 of them at 20 yards last week with no shot. I seen several trucks along 565 coming out of Decatur last night about 615. They must be several hunters out there this year.
