I have a new Ford Explorer for work that has a key fob only. Last week I ran down the road to grab a few things at CVS. When I went to get back in the truck the door unlock wouldn’t work. Forgot about the tiny door key in the fob. So I remembered that I had the door card code in my wallet and opened up the door. The dash message read no key was detected. So I started thumbing through the owners manual trying to see how to start this damn thing without a key. And then I remembered at the dealer the other month when I picked it up the salesman showed me that inside the center console is a little slot you put the fob in and it will start. And it did .
Only thing that I could figure is my cell phone, hotel key card and fob all in the same pocket made it go haywire.
Proud Army and ALNG veteran God Bless America!
