Went in blind this morning, nada. No acorns in there, no sign. Got down at 9:00 and did some looking, found a lot of poop under some red oaks butted up to a cutover. Been back up a tree since 2:30, nothing so far.

I’m set up in the hardwoods this afternoon. Lots of white oaks dropping in here and 250# of corn in a feeder that’s 17 yards from my stand. I’m hoping one of these good bucks moves in the daylight in here...My wife is hunting some white oaks about half a mile from me. I’m hoping she can get her first bow kill...It sure feels good to be back in a tree!! Good luck, everybody!!!

Got to skin and gut my first one of the year right after I got home from work today. My dad scored on a fat doe.
