M48scout OP 12 point Joined: Jan 2011 Posts: 5,800 Hoover, AL	What are yalls thoughts on the Speer Hot Cor? Federal loads this in some of their blue box ammo. I’m looking at the 150gr in Federal’s 7mm08. Seems like a decent match up ... plain soft point, high sectional density, in a moderate velocity cartridge. Anyone ever shot this or a similar round in Hot Cor?

The plain base 180 HC in the 300 shot like a match bullet and was not load picky. Hunted/killed a ton of deer with the Swede using the 120 264 HC. Never had one go more than 30 yds from where shot, and a handful drop in their tracks. I am a big fan of their HC bullets.
