Whatever you put in the hopper; put the smallest seed in last. As the tractor bounces the small stuff will make its way to the bottom.

Yep, spread a little over 18,000 lbs ( two 5 ton buggies) by myself this week. Opening the gate to five on an Adams spreader will give you around 500lbs to the acre of a 2.5:1 fertilizer/seed mix. First pass,15' off the edge then get to the end, turn slow and keep your spacing at 30'. Run strait lines if possible. Don't worry about shutting the gate between patches unless your roads are bad. DO NOT BACK UP WHEN ENGAGED.

We get the Co-Op to mix our seed and fertilizer and put it in the spreader truck. The truck spreads the seed/fertilizer in the field.
