Wife has a Parker buck buster and loves it. Killed her first doe with it this year and she is hooked! Maybe one day get her a vertical. Just happy to have her enjoying shooting and hunting.

Just love shooting a Bow at the moment. May try a Crossbow later down the road when I get older though. Pushing 50, so who knows how soon that may be.

Life is a journey. Make sure and bring plenty of Beer.

My luck has been so bad lately, it could be raining pussies and I'd catch one with a dick broke off in it.

Damn Blackhawk. Not many women pull 73 lbs. Have you allowed your wife to try 45 lbs ?

My Wife's the same... she loves the crossbow, can't draw my compound that is only 73 lbs.

Seriously?

Get her a bow and put it on about 45 or 50 pounds, let her learn to shoot and don't expect her to mimic your draw weight.

Switched to a crossbow last year. Rheumatoid Arthritis had me doubting my compound. Rather than try to buy a newer compound I decided on a used Excalibur and I love it. Shot at 2 and killed 2 this year.

I cannot pull a compound bow because of shoulder and spinal problems. The crossbow enables me to get into the woods at the best time of hunting season. To each his own. This is the first season that I have been able to get one. I hunted with the Barnett Jackal and I like it. The outcome was the same as it used to be with the compound bow. I shot at a big doe and shot over her.Lol.

LOL well she thought she could til she tried and found out she can't. yeah i have thought about it and told her i plan to get her one, but i think she thinks she can't draw it. but i bet she can, 45 lb is not that much, expecially if you work up to it.

Don't hunt with a Xbow and don't want to but I have zero problem with other hunters using one. I'm a compound guy but Xbows are fine too.
