Rather than try to buy a newer compound I decided on a used Excalibur and I love it. Shot at 2 and killed 2 this year. "Make a difference, take a kid hunting".

The crossbow enables me to get into the woods at the best time of hunting season. To each his own. This is the first season that I have been able to get one. I hunted with the Barnett Jackal and I like it. The outcome was the same as it used to be with the compound bow. I shot at a big doe and shot over her.Lol.
