Anyone use this as a pre-emerge in the fall? How well does it work? And If so what rate do you mix for liquid applications? I use a 30 gallon pull behind type boom sprayer for about 2 acres.

I've never heard of anyone using a pre-emerge for fall plots, honestly. I use roundup to kill everything, and go from there. It's cheap and easy. If you wait late enough (from now on) you're not going to get a lot of weed competition. Not enough to worry about.

on a Bermuda lawn, I've used a gallon jug of granules to treat 2 acres in 20 gallons of water. I don't have Bermuda, anymore, but it worked well when I used it. I'll be using it on centipede, now, so the mix may be a little weaker (only going off of how I've had to mix other herbicides weaker for centipede).

eta: it was a 5lb jug of prodiamine 65 wdg (generic barricade). did a good job on keeping crabgrass at bay and did well on poa ana (bluegrass).

I should have said on a Bermuda Lawn (food plots??? LOL) so this is what I needed to hear. Did you have good results in the spring?

It works ok if you get rain on it fairly soon. If not, the DNA herbicides break down and you’ll lose efficacy. I know it is more expensive, but Specticle is the way to go. It’ll sit and wait for rain and last longer also. If you can irrigate, keep it cheaper and use prodamine.

If you do the things you need to do when you need to do them then someday you can do the things you want to do when you want to do them.

X2 what he said ^^^.

Specticle is by far the best pre em on the market for fall winter early spring weeds. Swap to prodiamine for a good summer preventative.
