There needs to be a stick note at the top of the page that says for all questions concerning turkey shot and choke questions, visit nitros website

There needs to be a stick note at the top of the page that says for all questions concerning turkey shot and choke questions, visit nitros website Not every question, just the ones that ask for the BEST combo that you can buy You can load better, but they aren't cheaper.

In my Stoeger, I shoot a .655 Jellyhead and use the 3" 1 5/8 oz Hevi 6's and got 170+ in a 10" circle at 40 yds.

Ok the nitro's are out. I'm just a poor fat kid. I can swing the hevishot though. I do appreciate the timely reply lol. Shoot the 3-2-6 or 3" Mag blends in whatever choke the guys on oldgobbler say you should use in that gun with those loads and you'll be tickled pink. I bet the Jellyhead choke that wmd mentioned would do great. You don't gain much, if anything, with the Nitros over the Mag blends except maybe a lighter wallet and a few more smaller than advertised pieces of shot to throw at them to run the pattern numbers up just a little bit. Oh, and you might also damage your gun from the higher pressures. Sounds like they're worth double the money, don't it?

Come on jughead might as well put the 7s on the list also. You bought some for the 20 didn't you?
Do you want to hear him gobble, or do you want to kill him.

Come on jughead might as well put the 7s on the list also. You bought some for the 20 didn't you? Yeah, but for whatever reason....I'm skeptic of them past 40 with that lower velocity. I'm sure I worry about nothing though. NO DOUBT he would get the best pattern out of them vs. the other 2 loads I mentioned.

Thought we wasn't suppose to shoot over 40 anyway?

Thought we wasn't suppose to shoot over 40 anyway? It's unethical......I know I don't shoot past 40.

Step one..... find a place with lots of birds that no one hunts.
