Whoever you get to do it watch them as they work. Make sure they core the dam properly and no debris is covered in the dam. Proper slope is also very important. I'd make sure the dam is at least 15 or more feet wide on top. We have one that has over 13000 yde of dirt in it. Backs up 8 1/2 acres.
Two roads diverged in the woods and I took the one with deep ruts,hills and mud.It may be bumpy but WHAT A RIDE!
