We built a cultipacker about 6 years ago using 16” corrugated pipe. Over the years it’s taken a beating moving it from field to field so we started a repair with a much larger piece of pipe. The problem I’m running into know is the amount of concrete needed (almost 2k lbs - 23.25 diameter and 60” tall). We are thinking about pouring a foot of concrete then adding softball sized rocks and additional concrete. We have a good supply of rocks and I think I could offset 60% of the volume. Y’all have any other ideas?

I think adding those rocks are going to make it lopsided when you pull it.
Be like a big shopping cart being pushed with a noisy, lopsided wheel.

You could use chunks of styrofoam to reduce volume of concrete but not get lopsided.

I would just get another piece of 16 inch pipe and build another one just like you had. I have a piece of 26" pipe I thought about making into a cultipacker, but when I figured out how much it would weigh I canned the idea.
