Found this and once in will replace and give update. Bodyguard mag release "Arguing on the internet is like playing chess with a pigeon. GKelly 10 point Joined: Apr 2017 Posts: 4,597 Elmore county	my body guard wouldnt even take mags without pressing the release in until i popped one in and out about 50 or 100 times but it finally broke in. dont know if id like the button any longer though I already have problems with depressing the release when i sit down since i carry in my back pocket. I have to re engage the mag atleast once a week.

It was plastic and got to where the mags would fall out with a whack on the pistol. Now they won’t even stay in the magwell at all. The replacement is aluminum and shouldn’t wear down so quick. If it sticks out too much and get knocked too easily I’ll file it down to control it. But that plastic POS original has to go. "Arguing on the internet is like playing chess with a pigeon.
