Why did you chop them up?

They have a row of bones most other fish dont have almost right down the middle of the thick part of the filet. I cut them out then cut that in a couple more pieces. Some say you can eat those bones but I dont.

When I was a kid I would go with my dad to Cave Springs Ga and fish for rainbows. He would gut them and grill them whole. Good stuff! Congrats on the catch
