Pulpwood prices are ridiculously low around my area. Common these days to offer a timber sale on lump bid and get none or only one bid. Then a year later it still has not been cut.

Got 8.50/ton for first thinning on pine plantation last week. Maybe 10 acres but they needed a place to cut for a couple of days while on a neighboring tract.

Got 8.50/ton for first thinning on pine plantation last week. Maybe 10 acres but they needed a place to cut for a couple of days while on a neighboring tract. From where he is and north try $1.50-$2.00/ton if anybody will cut it at all.
