I was up in Iowa the first part of the week. It’s not really much cooler up there than it is at the house. It was in the 90’s every day. Night time lows around 70. There’s already 1000’s of acres of corn cut as far north as central KY. I didn’t expect that. Stubble already bushhogged on a bunch of that acreage. Judging by a lot of the other corn I saw still standing it wasn’t high moisture corn when it was shelled. There’s some corn and beans in Iowa that’s close to ready.

Pissy cold front moving through North Bama today. Supposed to be great for Friday night football. It felt really nice when I walked outside just a little bit ago. Damn wind may mess up my Friday night fishing though.
