Anyone have any down pants they hunt in? Thinking about getting some just not sure yet if it’s worth the money.

I have what may be the last pair of goose down camp coveralls that Cabela's sold when down was being phased out. They are the absolute best garment for sitting still in cold weather. Now, it don't matter if it's pants, jacket or whatever you won't be walking around with that sauna on.

I firmly believe that a double gallows should be constructed on the East Lawn of The White House. Politicians who willfully and shamelessly violate their oath to uphold and defend the Constitution of the United States of America should be swiftly tried and, upon conviction, publicly hanged at sunup the day after conviction. If multiple convicts are to be hanged they can choose with whom to share the gallows or names shall be drawn from the hangman's hat to be hanged 2 at a time.

35 degrees with 80% humidity is way colder than 20 degrees and low humidity. I say this before the “its not cold here”

I also have those down long johns from cabelas and they are great for sitting still in cold weather, but you’ll smother if you walk very far in them

I have some of the Cabela’s goose down top and bottom’s and I only wear them when it gets in the lower 20’s or colder. If you start walking around in them too much they will burn you up even in cold weather.

I've always worn the classic green wool hunting pants when I'm hunting in the cold.
