That is for regular students. For football players there are different numbers. No idea on bammer but it was 16 a few years ago at AU. If a regular student applied with that the Admissions office would enjoy the laugh and appreciate the application fee.
Lord, please help us get our nation straightened out.

Is it still just a "17" Score on the ACT for admittance?? Go for it Festus. A little luck and you’d probably have at least a puncher’s chance at a 17 if they were all multiple choice

There are also circumstances where a low score teamed with a lower GPA can get special treatment. If you have a 28-29 score but you have lower than a 3.0 gpa you will not be getting scholarship money.

What ACT score do you need for Auburn? Average ACT: 27 The 25th percentile ACT score is 24, and the 75th percentile ACT score is 30. In other words, a 24 places you below average, while a 30 will move you up to above average. There's no absolute ACT requirement at Auburn, but they really want to see at least a 24 to have a chance at being considered.

I have a nephew at AU as a freshman and I think I remember him saying a 26 or 27 was required for acceptance. And yes a 30+ will get at least most of your tuition paid for at most colleges in state.

I know with a 3.9 GPA and at least 27 on ACT is what AU Poultry Science/Pre-Veterinary Medicine required. My son started in August. He improved his ACT (dont remember exactly) around a 30 and 1/2 is paid.

Is it still just a "17" Score on the ACT for admittance?? The bigger question is, just how well can you kick a football?
The left lane is for the the purpose of moving the flow of traffic forward regardless of the speed limit. If your impeding the flow of traffic get your ass in the right lane. It's really that simple...

I would presume with the competition that more is better and your score will be weighed against the other incoming freshmen and/or "other" factors. I don't see anywhere on Auburn's website where they directly address it.

Unless you're trying for something specialized I'd CLEP what I could, take courses at West Georgia either online or traditional and then do online / traditional at XYZ school of higher smartification. Then I'd get a job so I could pay for HVAC school or mechanikin school or lectrifyin courses.
Degree is usually like a golf scorecard, ain't no pictures.

I was just Wondering.....My Nephew was Hell-Bent on going to AU and getting a Degree in Engineering as I Did. His Score/Grades were too low. I told him.."HELL....Apply at Bamma"....Alabama Power hires a few of there Grads. just to keep the peace and not show Preference.....Nuff Said!! Two years at a Jr. College with good grades there should take care of that. He needs to learn to study anyways if he is going to go to the Engineering school.
Lord, please help us get our nation straightened out.

ACT scores seem like they’re a lot higher than they were 20 years ago. It seems like a lot of kids these days take the ACT 4 or 5 times and takes a study course for it too. Heck, I took it the morning after my senior prom, showed up without a calculator, made a 15 on the math portion and still got a 23 😂 Back then it seems like you needed an 18 and a good GPA to get in the state schools.
