I’ll send one up for you. I need to do the same thing. I drink a ton of those things to the point sometimes I feel like crap in the afternoon and know it’s from stringing 2 or 3 of those along after lunch. You wouldn’t think Diet Coke and Diet Mt Dew would be as habit forming as they are. Thanks for posting, perhaps you can inspire me to do the same thing!

One of the things I did to help me quit dipping was I paid myself what I would spend on dip. Then after a few months, I splurged and bought something I wanted.

Just another incentive to help me keep going

I got off the coffee a few months ago. It was causing me to have to poop multiple times in the morning. Might have been the sugar and milk I put in it. Wasnt hard to quit and I dont miss it. The other problem went away as soon as I got off the coffee. Itll take you a few days to get used to the change but youll get used to it and be glad you did it.

Thanks guys, and so it begins. Already had a "big gulp" cup full of ice water, heavy on the lemon and a cup of some of the worst coffee I've ever drank. LOL I've never been a coffee drinker. I have drank coffee and I do like coffee but I've never drank it often or regularly. I drink it black. I axed my wife last night to make some for this morning but she apparently forgot. I made some when I got up. I think it would take rust off steel. Whew. Guess I should have looked up a recipe. I just poured a heap of grounds in it, put enough water for 4 cups in the back and hit GO. It's rough. After I diluted it 50/50 it's not quite as bad. LOL I'll figger it out.

Some years ago there was actually a renowned doctor-scientist who addressed the UN on the dangers of Aspartame. If I remember correctly it was a possible cause of the Gulf war syndrome. It chemically changes if it gets a certain temperature and all the cans transported to the Gulf war would have got that hot sitting during transport. It could be linked to your blood pressure problems too I suppose.

You can do it Fur. Just find a healthy alternative. I'm starting to enjoy unsweetened green tea,and I drink lime juice, water and pink salt mixed to my taste. Sometimes I want more salt and sometimes less but usually a couple table spoons lime juice and a couple shakes salt per glass of water.

Fur, I actually take caffeine pills.

Thanks Randy. I can get any amount of caffeine that I need from coffee or unsweetened black tea. I do like green tea and will get some to make. Coffee and tea are full of antioxidants. They are both a healthy alternative to the poison I've been drinking.

I'm looking forward to seeing if the Aspartame has actually causing my body to release insulin. I don't think it does, but the keto doc I've been seeing, says that it does. My argument has been that it doesn't cause my blood sugar to spike or increase but she says that doesn't matter, it causes and insulin release because your brain perceives it as sugar. I guess I'll be able to tell by my withdrawal symptoms. Maybe, maybe not.

It’s got Aspartame in it too.

Thanks guys! On my second cup of coffee. No adrenaline surge yet. Maybe I’ve got it pegged. Regardless of whether that’s it or not, that crap ain’t good fer ya.
