I stood off to the side one time just to see how loud a shot is going down range. there is a lot of wind noise when the arrow is in flight. Is that common or can anything be done to eliminate the arrow noise? we all three shoot different brand arrows and similar bows and poundage Mathews Halon 70 lb 28 inch draw carbon express mayhem 350 with blazer vanes Last edited by ColbertAU; 09/14/19 04:17 PM.

I have a large oak that's about 10 yards in front of the target. I stood behind the tree several times as he shot. It's no wonder deer can duck the shot.
