Broke down and went to the dentist today and a previous root canal is infected and needs to be retreated. I asked about pulling it but he said it has a twisted root around the sinus and really should be retreated. Anyway, my pain has gone from about a "4 or 5" to a solid "8" or worse since he poked and prodded it. Any good remedies besides ice and ibuprofen? Really driving me crazy about now. Taking antibiotics too.

After three years it got worse so he pulled it and put an implant in.
