Anybody heard what’s going on with him? Saban says he’s missing.

Well, duh,

Nick Saban said. “Alfano is going through some discipline things with me and could return if he makes the right decisions.” I think the kid is having a difficult time with all of the work, effort, and dedication it takes to play for Nick Saban. Primas have a difficult time staying on Alabama’s football team.

I’ve never heard him say someone is missing. I’m sure coach wants him to play football the kid is a freak talent.I was wondering if he’s even going to classes or even in the state.😳I think he was an early enrollment in January.

He didn't like the hot weather. He wasn't as big as advertised, about 260 when he reported and was out of shape, very little weight training in high school. I doubt he will ever play at Bama, but he has the opportunity to.

I understand he had missed some classes and was to do some early morning attitude correction workouts with Cochran. Then he didnt show up for these and now I think he scared to come back. Probably good riddance in the long run although was really looking foward to watching him play. Supposed to be a really good player.

Hate that he may have blown a great opportunity. I would have liked to see him play. Maybe he'll get h is act together and work back on to the team.

As of this morning, Alfano is in the transfer portal.

Not sure where You got information at about Alfano and I am not here to argue about it just passing along the last info. As of 84 minutes ago Charle Potter-One of the editors on the Bama Online message board on 24/7 said the rumors were not true about Alfano entering the transfer portal. Not sure how to post link or I would post it. Charle said this is a fluid situation and could change at a moments notice. Alfano might as well go ahead and transfer because he obviously does not have the mental makeup to be in Saban’s football program.

Charlie Potter is 100% wrong, unless you believe him over Alfano's father.....

Antonio’s grandmother recently fell very ill and is still fighting on life support. He is very close with her. Since this illness took effect, Antonio has taken it very hard. He has not attended classes and practices.

The University of Alabama has been extremely supportive and I couldn’t ask for better support from them.

Yesterday, Antonio asked to be placed in the transfer portal to see what his options are.

Although he’s in the transfer portal, he still can decide to remain at the University of Alabama.

My opinion is that Antonio should stay at the University of Alabama. However he’s an adult and it’s his decision.

Antonio knows that his family has & will always be there for him.

Charlie Potter has updated the situation as of 20 minutes ago and Alfano has indeed entered the transfer portal. I know you know your facts hunterbuck and again did not respond to argue with you about the subject. I hate that the staff from this past season did not properly evaluate the kids character before offering him. All of those coaches are gone now except Saban and Golding.

The article mentioned that Alfano’s name is not on the transfer portal list yet and he still has options to stay at Alabama or leave. Best of luck the the Young man in his choice. His grandmother has been real sick and on life support. He is supposed to be really close to her and this has kept him from going to class or practice. It is hard to keep him on the team if the kid is not going to class or practice whatever the situation maybe.

Yeah, all that was in the copy/paste of his father's tweets from this morning. Alfano actually entered the portal last night, it just takes a few hours for the paperwork to clear and then he'll show up there.

Whether he decides to remain at Bama, or wherever he ends up, hopefully he finds what he's looking for.

Evaluate the kids character? From the tweets HB posted the kids not taking his Grandmother's illness very well, i can't/won't fault the kid for that

I apologize James for questioning the kids character. I spoke to soon since I did not realize he had been missing class and practice because He has been taking his grandmother’s illness so hard. It was dumb of me to even mention his character since I do not know the kid from Adam. If I would have read all of hunterbucks post I would have seen it in there about his grandmother.
