Blends are convenient for a fellow who only plants a few acres and WMS is a good one. If you have several acres , roll your own.

We plant 3 plots every year using both of those blends. Our total acreage for the 3 plots is just under 1 Acre so for us its easier to buy it pre-bagged. If we were planting several acres, we would most certainly make up our own blend as it would be more cost effective. But, no doubt about it, Deer Magnet and Alabama blend are both great products. Same here. Easier to just buy what I need and have had great results with both.

How much seed to y'all normally use. In the past usually BFO on 2 fields and 3/4 way on others. Looking at something a little different this year.
