Colleges with the most players on current 53-man NFL rosters: 1. Alabama: 56 2. Ohio State: 44 3. Miami: 36 T-4. Florida: 35 T-4. LSU: 35 6. Florida State: 32 7. Oklahoma: 31 8. Georgia: 29 9. Clemson: 28 T-10. Penn State: 27 T-10. Texas A&M: 27 T-10. Wisconsin: 27 Surprised to see Miami at #3 because they have been irrelevant for years.

I bet bammers contribution to MLB is very low This piqued my interest so I looked it up. There are 6 on current MLB rosters. Alex Avila - Arizona Diamondbacks Tommy Hunter - Philadelphia Phillies Adam Morgan - Philadelphia Phillies Wade LeBlanc - Seattle Mariners David Robertson - Philadelphia Phillies Spencer Turnbull - Detroit Tigers There are currently three Auburn players on MLB rosters. Garrett Cooper - Miami Marlins Josh Donaldson - Atlanta Braves Trey Wingenter - San Diego Padres Kind of surprised by that with the success that Auburn baseball has had over the last several years. SEC rankings Vandy has 12 South Carolina has 10 LSU has 10 Arkansas has 9 Florida has 8 Alabama has 6 Ole Miss has 5 Missouri has 3 Auburn has 2 Vandy and Arizona State are tied at tops in the nation at 12.

Funny thing is I complain all the time, outside of two or three players, I never see any of our Bama guys playing in NFL games. I see Ingram, Henry, and Julio (and Ridley by default of seeing Julio) fairly often, but I swear with 56 dudes out there you'd think it'd be non stop. I saw Clinton-Dix and Eddie Jackson the other day, might be the first time I've seen them. And you can absolutely forget seeing any of the West coast guys.....I have seen the Raiders on TV in my adult life, prolly never see Josh Jacobs.
Edited: Let's say it this way, you'd think there'd be more "high profile position" players from Bama. We got a LOT of linemen, so unless you know who you're looking for, you often don't even know you're watching them I reckon.

AU fans: but we've got Cam We have 45 in the NFL Where did you pull that figure from? You counting practice squads? This thing called Google. You should try it sometime. Said Bama has 61. Washington has the most at 8.

If you half way pay attention to the NFL you will notice the Bama players I ain't TRYING to say anything. I am POINT BLANK, PLAINLY saying I don't see them when I watch (which isn't much). Nothing combative, nothing smartass, may not actually match what YOU see, and really didn't need nor expect any responses, I'm simply and plainly saying I don't see them during the few scattered times I scan across NFL games---- and I find that statistically odd considering how many there are. Living in Alabama, and not having any special NFL package (and only being a casual NFL fan to begin with), I tend to see the same few teams over and over and over. There was no intent to suggest anything else.

I don’t watch much NFL either, I was surprised at how often I heard Players name that I recognized.

On a side note from my last post.... I woke up last night around 11 because apparently my 2 week old little boy wanted me awake...anyways, I caught Josh Jacobs and the Raiders. It reminded me as to why Jacobs was always one of my favorite players to watch.

If f it wasn’t for the Rueben Fosters injury, half of the dang starters on defense would be from The University of Alabama.
I never like or agree with the conversation, but this is why about once a year, every other year the talking heads claim that Bama could hang with whatever NFL team sucks in that current season.

An excel spreadsheet for this chit?? #getalifeman And it's not even accurate. My previous post was the 53 man rosters entering week 1. 56 is the accurate number, which is still ridiculous and miles ahead of 2nd place. Makes you wonder why they havent won more championships than they have the past decade

Well in all honesty our ratio of National Championships is greater over the last 10 years than our NFL players. Bama has won half the national championships in the last 10 years and half of NFL players aren’t from Bama.
