Walmart is private property and they can ask you don’t carry and ask you to leave. If you don’t then it’s trespassing I believe. . Sucks but that’s the way it is. Just don’t shop there I avoid Walmart if at all possible. I also don’t open carry. But I’m warning everyone else here to be mindful of carrying in Walmart.

I think open carry is stupid and reckless. A. You're just being an attention whore. B. I don't want the bad guy to know I'm armed until I need him to know.

Walmart is private property and they can ask you don’t carry and ask you to leave. If you don’t then it’s trespassing I believe. Correct It probably won't be long before a plain clothed officer goes into one open carrying and is reported and they try to ban him/her. He should have a badge plainly visible or identify himself when challenged. I think open carry is stupid and reckless. A. You're just being an attention whore. B. I don't want the bad guy to know I'm armed until I need him to know. Yes sir I agree with both
Lord, please help us get our nation straightened out.

Open carry is a right and legal and you’re saying a person is an attention whore for exercising their God given right expressed in the constitution. You sound like a Democrat running for office. As for a bad guy knowing you’re armed ....when you start digging in your waistband or boot or pockets to get at whatever you carry your drawing attention to yourself. I open carry and CC it just depends on where I’m at and if I deem which is appropriate

That’s why I like other folks to do it. If a bad guy wants to start something, I’ve got to believe his attention will be on the open carry guy.

Bryan open carry only makes you a target and the bad guy recognizes you as a threat, guess where his first round is going? No one that is CC is going to draw while the perp is looking at you, unless you have a death wish. If you work in some businesses, open carry is appropriate too. It's everyones choice, but I wouldn't especially if with my family, an errant round could hit them too. Open carry is great in the woods. It's your right so do what you think best, but consider all facts.

Seems like it is typically some combloc oddball 9x17 hipster gun or a Hi Point in an Uncle Mikes velcro nonsense holster. If you insist on open carrying at least get a Safariland with a lock.
