Anyone taking any kids to the Munford Youth Hunt? I was signed up for the Alexandria hunt, but they canceled it and told us we could attend this one. Wondering if any Aldeer folks gonna be there?

We’ll be there. If I’m looking at the right field on Google Earth, there isn’t a shade tree out there. Gonna be a hot one for sure!

Any idea why they canceled it?

On the registration page by Alexandria hunt description it says delayed until 9/14 because Combine Broke Down.

Bummer

Well, we got out there and most of the good shady spots were taken, so we drove around to the other side over by Kelly Creek. It was hot as blue blazes and we didn't get any action, but we didn't stay too long. My 4 year old looked like a ripe tomato, so I called it after about 2.5 hours. There was one group that was set up on the creek where there was a break in the vegetation that the doves seemed to be keying in on. They had some flurries of action, but nothing crazy. It was still good to get out with my boys. Hope everyone did the same.
