Glad to have finally gotten off from working overnights. It had my whole life turned upside-down.

I do 4 on 4 off 12 hour days.I do a month of Nights and then a month of days, rotating back and forth. It's awesome to me. Work half the year for a full year of pay. Have a ton of time for family and fun. I almost think I prefer nights- It's way more laid back, I can get stuff done during the day before or after work and I see my wife and Kids during the day.
I spent the last 12 years working 5+ days a week anywhere from 40-60+ hours a week and being on call about 25% of the year... I much prefer my new jobs schedule.
The fool tells me his reasons; the wise man persuades me with my own.

I couldn't do it. There's just no way. Maybe night shifts, but no way could I do rotating shifts. Same here can and have done straight nights, but I could not do rotating every week or two. I would have to find another job.
If you're gonna be stupid you better be tough.
