I'm really wanting to get back into trad hunting but can't really come out of pocket for a new bow right now. Anyone interested in trading a nice RH recurve 45-50lbs for a ruger 10/22, black synthetic stock, with Leupold VX-1 3-9x40 and Warne rings? Would be a huge plus if the bow came with some arrows but I think I have enough laying around to get started. Gun and scope are both like brand new and have not been fired more than a dozen times. Trade value is $500 located near Montgomery.

Here's the thing about traditional bow shooting... you will be lucky if any of the arrows "you have laying around" shoot well with whatever bow this is that you get. Arrows need to be tuned for a particular bow. I'm certainly no big time archer like some of these guys are, but I did learn that early on. There are arrow charts out there to get you started on arrow selection. The good news is that there are some decent and reasonably priced arrows on ebay and Amazon.

You will want a bow stringer too.

I have a Martin Willow takedown recurve that I might be willing to part with, but I don't really need a 10/22. I already have a stainless one.

i just started last year heavily into it. It is addicting and hoping to shoot my first this year. I have an older bear grizzly that i shoot 600's with a total weight of 480gr. It shoots great and just counting the days. I just traded for a new 2017 grizzly that i hope shoots just as good. Check archerytalk and txbowhunter.com

I’ve got a takedown Samick with a case, arrows, all sorts of field tips, judos, and broadheads. Likely spare strings, tabs, gloves, etc, also.
