Run down on the area I hunted. Biking and hiking through timber company land, 6 miles. I went to a landowner last year and got permission to shortcut to the timberlands, no hunting. After season I got the guy a Home Depot gift card and then ran cams on the property and emailed him photos. Boom, permission granted.

Landowner attached to there said NO last year. During off season I saw him and said "if ya let my son and I hunt, I'll give ya 1/2 the elk if we kill one" he perked up quick. I then said "heck, I'll go get ya a bag of burger right now" he said "DEAL". My brain said "TOUCHDOWN"...
I'll give him half the bull and give my wife a tender cow tag lol

Be about 2 years or so. We're on a 2016 bull now. Then the 2017 and 2018 cows, lol. I have them in the freezer newest on bottom.

Yea, everyone counts the "ya can hang a ring on it " points. Shortest one is a little over 1.5".
